The amount of self-financing needed for participating in the North-South Local Government Co-operation Programme is non-specified. The northern and southern local governments should provide input of some kind (financial or in kind). This can take the form of providing office or other facilities; or administrative, co-ordination or expert input. The local governments should report on the use of their own resources when devising the project applications, financing plan and budget, as well as when reporting on the use of funds.
